No. 13 BYU and No. 18 Coastal Carolina have agreed to play this Saturday at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina. ESPN’s College Gameday will be on site for the Top 20 showdown between two undefeated teams. The game time is slated for at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU, however, it’s expected the game will be moved to either ESPN or ABC.
Coastal Carolina was originally scheduled to host Liberty on Saturday, but due to COVID-19 issues, the Flames weren’t able to play.
“We’re grateful that this game between our two teams could be put together in such a timely fashion.” said BYU Director of Athletics Tom Holmoe. “It’s good to have a partner like ESPN that can help put together such a meaningful game at this point of the season.”

The game is easily one of the most anticipated matchups this week as both are undefeated and tanked in the Top 20. Both teams have high-powered offenses and quarterbacks who can sling it all over the field.
No. 18 Coastal Carolina is coming off a 49-14 win last week on the road against Texas State, a common opponent that BYU has also faced. The 13th-ranked Cougars beat Texas State 52-14 back in October.
Coastal Carolina has already clinched a berth in the Sun Belt Conference championship game on Dec. 19 and will face No. 25 Louisiana.

Coastal coach Jamey Chadwell says he phoned staff members at the two Sun Belt teams that played #BYU (Texas State & Troy). Those teams lost by a combined 100-21 score.
