The Holy War between BYU and Utah is one of the greatest college football rivalries in the country and Saturday’s game at Rice-Eccles did not disappoint.

Down 27-7 with just under a minute to go in the third quarter, No. 17 Utah rattled off 28 consecutive points to come from behind for a 35-27 victory over BYU.

Utah quarterback Jason Shelley threw for 141 yards and a touchdown and added 61 yards and ran for another on the ground to lead the Utes to victory.

BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, also a freshman, had a big night as well as he completed 20 of 29 passes for 204 yards, two touchdowns and also ran for 73 yards in the loss.

Utah running back Armand Shyne had just 47 yards rushing, but the junior was key in the comeback with two rushing touchdowns, including the go-ahead touchdown to put Utah up 28-27 late in the fourth quarter.
