Nebraska’s game against Fresno State won’t be remembered by the plethora of touchdowns that were scored Saturday, but of what took place during the first quarter of the game at Memorial Stadium.
On the first possession of the game, Nebraska took a delay-of-game penalty as they lined up with just 10 players on the field. An empty spot was left where Foltz should have been in one of the most touching tributes fans will ever see.
The sellout crowd of more than 90,000 erupted as they honored their former All-Conference kicker. Players and coaches got on their knees with many pointing up towards the sky.

“It was an incredible feeling,” Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. said after the game. “Knowing how much he meant not only to us, but to the community and the fans out there.”
The Huskers drew a penalty for delay of game. But in a very classy gesture, Fresno State declined the penalty.
We had to take a delay of game, weren't able to get all 11 guys out to punt in time.
