In what likely determined the Pac-12 South title, the Utes crushed USC, 41-28, Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The win pushed Utah to the the top of the Pac-12 South standings with just four conference games remaining.

Utah’s (5-2, 3-2 Pac-12) offense continues to get better each week as the Utes scored 40+ points for the third straight game. The Utes’ offense set a program record in Pac-12 play as the team racked up 541 yards of total offense. USC (4-3, 3-2 Pac-12) was held to just 205 total yards.

Tyler Huntley completed 22-of-29 passes for a game-high 341 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Utes to the easy victory. USC true freshman quarterback JT Daniels couldn’t get anything going and was even knocked out of the game in the second half. He finished the night going 6-of-16 for just 89 yards and a score to go with two interceptions.

Utah star running back Zack Moss ran all over the Trojan defense as he rushed for 136 yards on 25 carries.
