Once again, the Boston Red Sox are World Series champions.
Following a record-breaking regular season in which they won a franchise-best 108 games, the Red Sox cemented themselves in history.
Thanks to great performances again by David Price and Steve Pearce, The Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 5-1, in Game 5 of the World Series to clinch another championship, their fourth since 2004 and ninth in franchise history.
“This one, in my mind, was easily the best,” said Red Sox owner John Henry. “They were just relentless throughout the season. But it was just the unity and sense of purpose. I’ve never seen, I mean, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
After winning a franchise-record 108 regular season games, the Red Sox continued their dominance as they beat three of the best teams in the league with series wins over the New York Yankees, Houston Astros and the Dodgers en route to the baseball crown.

Steve Pearce has worn eight MLB uniforms, including four different ones in 2012. Incredible to see a guy who saw the transaction wire as much as he did as an integral part of a championship team. pic.twitter.com/XAsp8Qw6MB
