And you thought blowing a 3-1 lead was bad.
Barcelona completed one of the most improbable comebacks in soccer history in a 6-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain to move on to the Champions League quarterfinals.
After falling 4-0 in the first leg to PSG, Barcelona needed a miracle to move on and it did just that on Wednesday. The team scored three goals in the final seven minutes for a stunning 6-5 aggregate come-from-behind series victory.
Neymar got things going with a beautiful free kick in the 88th minute and then followed it up with a penalty kick in the 90th minute. Then just seconds before the final whistle blew, Barcelona scored the game-winning goal as players and coaches flooded the pitch in celebration.
Even the announcers and journalists couldn’t control their emotions after witnessing history.
