The second-seeded Mississippi State Bulldogs pulled off a stunning upset over No. 1 Connecticut Friday night at the American Airlines Center and it was no April Fools’ joke either. The Bulldogs took down the Huskies, 66-64, in perhaps the biggest upset in women’s college basketball history as Mississippi State ended the Huskies’ 111-game winning streak to advance to the NCAA Championship game.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was even in attendance as he cheered on his alma mater. Prescott may have been the most excited person in the building as cameras continued to catch his wild and wacky celebrations. The quarterback even received a standing ovation after he was shown on the jumbotron.
It's on.
