In a battle of No. 1 seeds, North Carolina rallied to beat Gonzaga 71-65 to win its sixth national championship, the third most in NCAA History.
UNC head coach Roy Williams won his 100th NCAA Tournament game in fashion and also surpassed passed mentor Dean Smith with his third national title. Williams joins an elite group of coaches as he is now one of just six to have three basketball titles.
