USWNT To Play Road Friendlies Against Portugal And Scotland In November

USWNT

After winning the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship and booking a spot in the 2019 Women’s World Cup, the USWNT will travel to Europe in November for a pair of friendlies, according to the Washington Post’s Steven Goff.

The U.S. will take on Portugal on November 8 and Scotland on November 13 according to the report. It will be the first time the U.S. will travel outside of the United States since a November 2017 match that took place in Vancouver.

The European teams will pose a different challenge than the U.S. have seen recently and will help them prepare for the defense of their World Cup, especially Scotland, who has already qualified for France.
