What a night for baseball.
The evening began with legendary announcer Vin Scully throwing out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium and ended in epic fashion as the Houston Astros came-from-behind to rally for a stunning 7-6 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road.
With the win, the Astros evened up the World Series at one game apiece.
Taking a comfortable 3-1 lead in the top of the 8th, the Astros scored a run in each of the next two innings to force extra time. It wasn’t until the top of the 11th when the Astros pulled away for good with a two-run home run by George Springer to clinch the team’s first World Series victory in franchise history.
