Rain or snow, one thing is clear: the Utah football team is going to find a way to win.
After falling behind — and seeing Chase Hansen kicked out of the game on a bogus targeting call — the Utes literally “weathered the storm” as they cruised to a 30-7 road victory over Colorado in the snow on Saturday.
“It doesn’t bother us a bit,” coach Kyle Whittingham told reporters about the weather conditions. “We are up in the mountains in Salt Lake City, so not a problem at all. Our guys handled it very well. It didn’t faze them.”
Jason Shelley and Samson Nacua put @Utah_Football on the board with this touchdown, and the rest is history. ?

Reactions As Jason Shelley and Armand Shyne lead Utah Past Oregon, 32-25
Starting his second career game after Tyler Huntley went down with a season-ending injury, Jason Shelley threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Utes to victory. With the win, Utah at least earned a share of the Pac-12 South title and also inched closer to the programs first Pac-12 title game appearance.
The Utes (8-3, 6-3) can clinch their first Pac-12 South title if Arizona State falls at Oregon or if the Sun Devils lose next week against Arizona.
Here’s all the best reactions after the game:

Utah Football: Why The Utes Will Win The Pac-12 South Division
I wonder how many times in the modern era of college football, a team has allowed 4 yards or less in a quarter to teams 2 weeks in a row. Utah vs Oregon last week in the 1st quarter had 4 yards, & today in the 3rd vs Colorado. Great D UTES. Please help @ESPNStatsInfo

Utah's defense held CU to 196yds today. It's their best EVER mark in Pac 12 Play. Previous was 205yds vs. USC this year. #Utes @Utah_Football

Delete all your accounts @pac12 and better yet delete your conference @pac12. Better to play in the big sky, MWC, Indy, 6a, 4a, than to play with your refs. Someone get me Larry Scott’s number we need to chat let’s go.

Reminder: Utah has done everything necessary to win the South. Hardest conference schedule, lose two best offensive players and still did enough. If ASU wins the next two games then don’t go screaming at Whitt. His performance shouldn’t be graded on ASU’s performance.
