According to Phil Mickelson, the much-anticipated one-on-one battle vs. Tiger Woods is coming.

Mickelson confirmed the two will face each other on Thanksgiving weekend following his round at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational on Thursday.

Sources have told ESPN’s Mike Greenburg that the event will take place at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.

The event will either take place on Friday, Nov. 23 or Saturday, Nov. 24. The purse has yet to be determined, but previous reports have said a payout could be as high as $10 million.

Woods, a 14-time major winner and Mickelson, a five-time major winner, have been rivals since playing junior golf in Southern California.

Currently, both are competing at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational, with Woods sitting at -6 after two rounds, good for a 10th place tie. Mickelson sits just one stroke behind Woods at -5, tied for 16th in the field.
