Rudy Gobert has been nicknamed The Stifle Tower, The French Rejection, and The Gobert Report, but after Sunday’s incredible game-winning basket to give the Utah Jazz a 110-109 victory in overtime, maybe we should be calling him “Big Time” with all the last-second plays he’s made this year.
Gobert’s final points came just as time expired for a thrilling win on the road. After making a driving layup off a feed from Gordon Hayward to force overtime, the 7-foot-1 center followed it up by tipping in a George Hill airball in at the Golden 1 Center.

The bucket was initially waved off for basket interference before the refs reviewed it and reversed the call.
Gobert finished the day with 16 points and a game-high 24 rebounds. Rodney Hood led all scorers with 28 points and Gordon Hayward added 23 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the win.
The Jazz rallied from a 16-point deficit to get the win and now have a 1.5 game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers for the fourth spot in the West. The Jazz return home to take on New Orleans Monday. The Jazz haven’t defeated the Pelicans at home since Nov. 28, 2015.
