When you play with fire, you’ll eventually get burned, but that moment hasn’t come yet for  the Vols as No. 11 Tennessee pulled off yet another miraculous comeback Saturday afternoon against No. 25 Georgia at Sanford Stadium.

With the win, Tennessee is off to its first 5-0 start since 1998 which ironically was the same year they went on to win the national title.

On the final play of the game, Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw up a prayer which was answered by wide receiver Jauan Jennings who went up and climbed the ladder for a game-winning 43-yard touchdown catch.

“It was a crazy play, stuff you dream about,” Dobbs told reporters after the game.

“We have the most competitive team in the nation. “There’s no quit in this team,” he added.

The Hail Mary catch summed up one of the craziest games this year as both teams combined for three touchdowns in the final 3 minutes.

The Bulldogs appeared to win the game on a long touchdown pass of their own with just 10 seconds left in the game. Bulldog fans celebrated what they thought was the game-winning score as quarterback Jacob Eason found fellow freshman wide receiver Riley Ridley down the sideline for a 47-yard touchdown pass to give Georgia a 31-28 lead.

“I’ve never been part of something like that,” said Greg Pyke, a Georgia senior offensive lineman. “We won the game. Then, next thing you know, we lost the game. It’s heartbreaking.”

Incredibly, Tennessee — the Cardiac Vols — are now 4-0 when trailing by double-digits this year.
