Gordon Hayward — who made his first All-Star appearance this year — will become a free agent this summer with rumors that he could leave the Utah Jazz for the Boston Celtics or the Miami Heat.
Of course, a lot will come down to what the Jazz are willing to offer him. Fans have been taking it into their own hands with one fan, or as Chris Paul would say “complete homers” even starting a GoFundMe page in hopes to keep Hayward in Utah. The campaign reached its goal of $5,000 to rent a billboard with the phrase “STAYWARD” which is located between the Jazz practice facility and the arena for the entire month of May.”
Jazz fans, share this like crazy. Let's get this billboard up and convince Hayward to stay in Utah. #TakeNotehttps://t.co/GtrptMTVPo

But what happened on Sunday topped it all.
After Hayward scored a career-high 40 points in Game 3, Jazz fans had to painfully watch the franchise player sit on the bench Sunday due to food poisoning.
And for one Jazz fan, he wanted to do something about it.
The young fan dropped off a pack of Gatorade with a note that read:
“I’m sorry you’re not feeling good, and I hope these Gatorades will help. I was going to bring you cookies but I thought you wouldn’t want those because you need to stay in shape. You balled out Game 3 and I hope you can do the same in Game 5. Best of luck!! Go Jazz!” – Jackson F.
The Jazz won Game 4 to even the series at 2-2, but more importantly, a young boy made Hayward’s night with this sweet gesture.
Here’s some of the comments after word spread:
“Who needs a billboard when he’s got a neighbor kid dropping Gatorade off on the doorstep?! Go Jazz!”
“Love it. My question is where does this boy live and how did he know Gordon’s address?”
“After this he better stay In Utah!! So adorable!”
“If this doesn’t show him how much Utah loves him, nothing will.”
“About 50 years from now we will find out this is why Gordon Hayward stayed in Utah.”
