ESPN’s College GameDay was in Salt Lake City today ahead of a huge Pac-12 matchup featuring No. 8 Oregon (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) and No. 13 Utah (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Saturday also marked the fifth time that GameDay has come to Salt Lake City — with the last time being in 2016.
With a few days until the first College Football Playoff rankings are announced, Saturday’s game will provide a big boost for winner as the Pac-12 looks to have a team in the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2016 (Washington). Utah also comes in having won the past two home games against Oregon.
Fans arrived early as the show kicked off at 7 a.m. MT and many of them brought plenty of creative signs. Some notable ones targeted Michigan after the sign-stealing scandal, Jimbo Fisher’s buyout, duck hunting, among many others.
