It was a Christmas miracle.
The Cleveland Browns (1-14) won their first game of the season in a 20-17 victory over the San Diego Chargers.
San Diego’s Josh Lambo missed a 45-yard field goal as time expired to give Browns fans the best Christmas Eve present they will ever remember.
As Lambo’s kicked sailed just right, Browns fans jumped for joy as players celebrated as if they had just won the Super Bowl. Some even fell to the ground in shock and disbelief.
With the win, the Browns avoided becoming the second team to go 0-15 and won’t be joining the Lions for the worst record in NFL History (0-16). It also snapped Cleveland’s 17-game losing streak which dated back to last season.
Here’s how the sports world reacted to the Browns winning their first game of the season.
