There is no question that wide receiver Antonio Brown is a key offensive piece to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brown, who was selected to the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in his seven seasons, became the first player in Steelers history with 1,000 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in three straight seasons (2014-16), and the first player in team history to record 90 receptions in four straight seasons.
And because of that, the Steelers made sure Brown wasn’t going anywhere as he signed a four-year, $68 million extension with the Steelers on Monday, making him the NFL’s highest-paid receiver.
After signing the contract, Brown tweeted an old scouting report that labeled him a low-skill player and late draftable pick.
6th Round. 195th overall.
“Lacks functional strength…”I’m still hungry.

The only nice thing the scouting really report had to say about Brown was that he didn’t miss a game during his time at Central Michigan.
Here’s what the scouting report said:
“Very thin and small in stature with a wiry build. Lacks functional strength to beat the jam and will struggle to create separation against man coverage. … Did not play quality competition on a weekly basis. Attitude and work ethic are concerns. Could have used another year of development, but opted to come out. … Brown’s strength and instinct deficiencies will make it difficult to separate at the next level. Character concerns could limit his appeal and knock him off the draft boards.”
NFL projection: Late draftable pick.
Brown ended up being selected by the Steelers in the sixth round with the 195th overall pick.
