Utah QB Tyler Huntley had himself a game!
The senior completed 21 of 30 passes for 334 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for two more scores on the ground to lead No. 19 Utah to a dominating 38-13 victory over Washington State.
In fact, Huntley had more yards tonight than WSU had for the entire game as the Air Raid offense managed just 313 yards and was held scoreless in the second half on a rainy Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
“I feel as confident as I ever have but everyone around me played well, the offensive line, the receivers and the defense,” Huntley said after the game. “We were rolling.”

AP Top 25 Poll: Utah and Washington Jump, Alabama Passes Clemson
Coming into Saturday’s showdown, all eyes were on WSU QB Anthony Gordon who set a conference record with nine touchdown passes last week in a loss to UCLA. However, Huntley stole the show and Utah’s defense made life miserable for the senior quarterback who completed 30-of-49 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown. Gordon also threw two interceptions and had 12 passes batted down at the line of scrimmage.
“We played well in all phases of the game and really followed the game plan,” said Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Britain Covey, Utah’s leading receiver did not play Saturday and there were rumors that he was going to redshirt for the remainder of the season. The 5-foot-8, 170-pound junior, who had offseason knee surgery, hasn’t looked as sharp as he usually does so far this season.
However, Whittingham put those rumors to bed as he noted that Covey wasn’t feeling very well this week. Whittingham noted that it’s still up in the air if Covey is going to redshirt and that they will make that decision in the coming weeks. Filling in for Covey, Samson Nacua, and Bryan Thompson combined for nine catches for 201 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Here’s how fans, players and coaches reacted after the game:

@GinaHuntley1 – So happy for you and your family. If that was fun for me that had to be….I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a D1 athlete have a game like tonight. ?????❤️?

it’d be dumb to predict a win against washington based on how the last few years have gone but if Utah plays like this 7-2 in conference looks realistic.

We can sleep happy tonight.
That was an awesome game by the boys. Way to bounce back. Still lots of room to grow, but overall… love this.
Let's rest up and go kick BYE week's teeth in.
