BYU’s Brayden El-Bakri Delivered The Biggest Hit Of The College Football Season

BYU Football

With 10:43 remaining in the first quarter, San Jose State’s Rahshead Johnson took the kickoff near the goal line and started running up field. With his team down 7-0, Johnson was looking for a big block as he looked to tie the score up with a big special teams play.

Unfortunately for Johnson, the big play came, but he was on the wrong end of arguably the biggest hit of the college football season.

Without anyone picking him up and running at full speed, BYU’s Brayden El-Bakri delivered a hit for the ages as he laid Johnson out. Not only did the junior fullback/running back deliver the hard hit, but he also came up with the fumble recovery too. The turnover quickly led to an 11-yard touchdown pass from Tanner Mangum to Matt Bushman to put BYU up 14-0.
